Family Law Solicitor
Rooney Family Law is seeking to recruit an experienced family law solicitor as part of the firm’s continued expansion. We are a specialist Scottish family law practice dealing exclusively with privately funded work across the central belt. You will be joining a well-established and growing team comprising experienced family solicitors, accredited family law paralegals and long-standing administrative staff. The firm operates a modern, paper-light system using LEAP, with strong administrative and paralegal support to allow solicitors to focus on substantive legal work.

• a strong grounding in divorce and financial provision work
• experience of cohabitation claims and related litigation
• a high level of competence in drafting and written pleadings
• strong attention to detail and organised case management
• the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
We would particularly welcome interest from solicitors with 3 years’ PQE or more.

• a manageable and well-structured caseload
• strong administrative and paralegal support
• exposure to more complex financial provision work over time
• quality CPD and support for professional development
