Ampersand Advocates’ Timothy Young has been appointed deputy editor of Session Cases, the Scottish Council of Law Reporting has announced.

Mr Young called to the bar in 2013 and has developed a busy practice in commercial and public law. He is regularly instructed in the Court of Session and Sheriff Court, both as sole counsel and junior counsel.

He has been a law reporter for Session Cases since 2014. He takes up the role following Emma Toner’s appointment as editor in succession to Julius Komorowski, who resigned the editorship upon his appointment as a judge of the First-tier Tribunal.
