Three new members join Terra Firma Chambers

Aimee Cole

Terra Firma Chambers has announced that Aimee Cole, Francesca Glendinning and Graeme Milloy will join the stable upon calling to the bar today.

Prior to calling, Ms Cole was a solicitor in private practice for over 10 years and has extensive experience in asylum, immigration and deportation appeals. She comes from an agricultural background and has a keen interest in land law and agricultural law which she is keen to develop at the bar. Terra Firma’s Robert Sutherland was her principal devil master and fellow TFC member Stephen Winter was her subsidiary.

Francesca Glendinning

Ms Glendinning calls after five years in practice as a solicitor, during which time she worked both in private practice and in-house with the Government Legal Service for Scotland. She is experienced in property and planning litigation with particular expertise in commercial lease disputes, dilapidations, rent reviews, irritancy, keep-open clauses and the recovery of arrears. She also has experience of planning hearings, statutory appeals and judicial reviews, and compulsory purchase. Terra Firma’s Graham Dunlop was her principal devil master.

Graeme Milloy

Mr Milloy specialises in commercial, insurance and professional negligence disputes. Prior to calling he gained extensive experience pursuing and defending professional negligence claims involving accountants, architects, auditors, engineers and surveyors. He specialised in disputes involving lawyers and has dealt with a wide range of such cases. He has also acted for construction professionals in high value infrastructure disputes. He also holds an active interest in clinical negligence, property litigation and public law.

Emma Caskie-Potter, practice manager at Terra Firma, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Aimee, Francesca and Graeme to Terra Firma.
