Shoosmiths Scotland secures flagship let

Shoosmiths has advised on a flagship letting on behalf of Kadans Science Partner (Kadans) of 40,000 sq ft to Chemify, a pioneer in the development of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology in the Health Innovation Hub (HIH), a new purpose-built life science facility at Govan, in Glasgow.
The 87,000 sq ft facility at HIH is being delivered by Kadans in collaboration with The Living Laboratory, a partnership made up of the University of Glasgow, Scottish Enterprise and Glasgow City Council. The facility secured £27.5 million City Deal funding, an additional £38m from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Strength in Places fund and over £22 million from industry partners.
Shoosmiths has been appointed to act on the lettings at HIH for Kadans, a leading science park real estate developer with a strong UK and European footprint.
