Ralph Sayer, the Edinburgh-based solicitors and estate agents, has appointed Katie Wright as its latest ‘home-grown’ solicitor.
Having graduated with an LLB from Aberdeen University, she obtained her diploma in legal practice at the University of Edinburgh prior to joining Ralph Sayer.
She follows in the footsteps of Megan Kane, who earlier this year became the first solicitor to train and qualify with the family-run legal firm.
“My time here has gone really quickly and I am excited to join the company as a permanent member of staff and qualified solicitor,” she said.
“It’s nice to be recognised for all the work I have done over the past two years. There is a really nice atmosphere within the office and everyone gets on so well. I am really enjoying it and I feel part of the family now.”
CEO Ivan Ralph believes Miss Wright will be a good fit for the business, which last year moved into an expanded HQ to accommodate its ongoing growth.
“Katie is very much on the ball,” he said.
“In keeping with the ethos of the firm, she’s responsive to clients, very organised and deals with things with the minimum of fuss and very efficiently. We have had a lot of positive feedback from clients about the work she has done for them and she will be a very good person to retain in the business.”
