New recruits have started this week across its four city offices – Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Perth.

They take the number of trainees with the growing firm to 13, with a further eight stepping up to become newly qualified solicitors after completing their two-year training programme.

The new recruits are:

• Cameron Murphy, private client, Glasgow
• Marsha Smith, employment, Edinburgh
• Nadia Blaikie, rural - land and business, Edinburgh
• Nicola Martin, corporate, Glasgow
• Ryan McGill, residential conveyancing, Perth
• Summer Bell, private client, Dundee

Over the next two years, each trainee will gain experience working across a range of different areas of law. They have been welcomed to Lindsays by managing partner Andrew Diamond.

The lawyers who have completed their training and secured permanent positions with Lindsays are: Cheryl McDonald (residential conveyancing, Perth), Evie Campbell (corporate, Glasgow), Kara Valentine (corporate, Edinburgh), Kathryn Short (private client, Glasgow), Kirsty Cameron (private client, Dundee), Rachel Lind (private client, Edinburgh), Rebecca Nally (employment, Glasgow), Summer Meekison (private client, Edinburgh).

Another eight trainees – along with two newly-qualified solicitors – will be among the staff who join Lindsays as part of the firm’s merger with Dallas Macmillan in Glasgow when it takes effect on September 1.
