The deal will see the team working from the partnership’s Glasgow city centre offices increase in number from 80 to over 120 as new colleagues move across.

It takes Lindsays’ total headcount - including its other offices in Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth and Crieff - to more than 420 people.

The merger, the firm’s fourth in 11 years, was announced in June. It is the first to have been overseen by Andrew Diamond, who became Lindsays’ managing partner in October last year.

Lawyers transferring from Dallas McMillan advise clients across a range of areas including personal injury, employment law, commercial property, corporate matters, residential conveyancing and private client matters such as wills and powers of attorney.

No jobs have been lost as part of the merger.

This latest chapter in Lindsays’ strategic expansion follows similar mergers with Shield & Kyd (2012), MacLachlan & MacKenzie (2012), RSB Macdonald (2015), Aitken Nairn (2018), Hadden Rankin (2019) and Miller Hendry (2023).
