Graham Webster has joined Turcan Connell as legal director in the firm’s business law team.

Based in Glasgow, Mr Webster will work closely with Mike Kane, head of business law, and Glasgow-based partners Pete Murrin and Simran Panesar-Saggu.

Originally from Glasgow, Mr Webster returns to the region from leading an international private client firm where he spent more than a decade advising the holders of private wealth and closely-held businesses. Prior to this, he spent nearly eight years with a private equity firm working in both London and Paris.

He advises on a broad range of UK and international corporate matters, including family office investments, M&A transactions, growth capital investments, joint ventures, and family enterprise governance, with particular experience advising founders, family-owned businesses and family offices.

Mr Webster said: “I am thrilled to be joining Turcan Connell and to support the development of the Business Law offering. The firm’s market-leading platform coupled with its core values of excellence and a personal approach make it a natural home, and I’m excited to be part of the team.”

Mike Kane, head of business law, said: “We are delighted to welcome someone of Graham’s calibre to the firm. He brings a wealth of experience advising family businesses and family offices, which further strengthens our market-leading offering across Scotland. His expertise and strong connections in the West of Scotland will be invaluable as we continue to support our clients and grow our presence in the region.”
