Event: Private client seminar and Contentious Executries book launch

Terra Firma will present a Private Client seminar at the Mackenzie Building, Old Assembly Close, Edinburgh on Thursday 16th June 2022.

The seminar will feature talks by Philip Simpson QC on inheritance tax and Fergus Colquhoun on liferents.

Roddy Macleod will present a case law update on contentious executries and the seminar will be followed by a drinks reception to celebrate the launch of his new book on the subject: Contentious Executries: Commissary & Executry Litigation in Scotland, recently published by Sweet & Maxwell.

Registration will commence at 4.45pm with the seminar running from 5.15pm to 6.15pm.

The talk has been accredited by the Faculty of Advocates as contributing 1 hour of CPD for its own members and is eligible for a similar award from the Law Society for the solicitor branch of the profession.
