CMS to hold business partnering events for in-house lawyers

CMS will stage events across their Scottish offices throughout November designed to support in-house legal teams enhance their role as strategic business partners.
The ‘Legal as a Business Partner’ seminars, being held in Glasgow (12 Nov), Aberdeen (18 Nov) and Edinburgh (27 Nov), will explore how in-house legal professionals can develop their skills as a strategic connector between their legal expertise and business priorities of their organisation. The sessions will focus on business partnering and its guiding principles for success with practical insights from other in-house lawyers and experienced CMS colleagues.
The events are part of the firm’s In-House Essentials programme which is aimed at supporting in-house legal teams to expand their networks, stay ahead of legislative and industry changes, and develop essential leadership skills.
