Global law firm Clyde & Co welcomed more than 215 clients and colleagues to its annual Burns Supper in London.

The evening brought together senior representatives from across the firm’s UK and international client base to network informally, celebrate Scottish culture and enjoy the customs that have made the Burns Supper a highlight for clients for more than two decades.

Held once again at the historic Merchant Taylors’ Hall, the supper featured spirited performances from Clyde & Co’s Scottish team.

Andrew Constable led the evening as master of ceremonies, setting the tone for a warm and convivial celebration.

The haggis was piped in by David Leckie before being addressed by Vikki Melville, managing partner for Scotland.

Tanya Gordon delivered the Selkirk Grace before the meal.

After dinner, the Immortal Memory was delivered by David Tait, followed by a Scottish musical medley performed by Alison Taylor and James Lowe.

In what has become a Clyde’s tradition, two of the Scottish senior associates, Lorne Todd and Angus Gillies, delivered their toast to the laddies and reply to much mirth and laughter.

The evening closed with a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne.

Speaking after the event, Ms Melville said: “Each year we are humbled by the enthusiasm our clients show for this occasion.

“The Burns Supper offers a rare opportunity to step away from the day‑to‑day and connect with clients in a way that is warm, authentic and uniquely Scottish.

“The feedback we’ve received reflects not only the strength of those relationships, but also the appreciation for the talent and hard work our colleagues bring to the evening – from the music and performances to the tradition‑steeped speeches.

“It is a true team effort, and one that resonates deeply with everyone who attends.”
