Blackadders LLP has welcomed lawyers from across the globe to an international summer conference in Dundee.

The Legus International network of law firms gathered in the city for its 2026 Annual Meeting from 25th to 27th June. The event was last held in Scotland in 2013.

Around 60 delegates are attending the event in Dundee from countries including the United States, South Africa, Australia, India, The Bahamas, Israel and Canada, as well as European firms from Germany, Italy, Denmark, Belgium, Cyprus, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Spain and Greece.

Emma Gray, joint managing partner of Blackadders, said: “We are delighted to help host such a prestigious group. There are people from major law firms and from every part of the globe. We are honoured that they have chosen Scotland and Dundee for this gathering.”

Breana Jackson, vice president of Legus International, said: “Each of our meetings is hosted by a member, giving them the ability to share their part of the world. Blackadders and all of the venues in Dundee have been exceptional, allowing us to focus on the growth and development of our members at the meeting.”

The conference heard sessions on how AI can contribute to the growth of a law firm and growing international relationships. Ms Gray led a session entitled How a Law Firm Can Create and Implement Successful Growth and Fiona Robertson and Richard Neville from Neville Robertson Communications gave a presentation entitled Internal and External Communications as Part of a Growth Strategy.

The annual meeting is being held in the Malmaison Hotel in Dundee with a gala dinner at the V&A Museum. At the end of the conference, delegates will have the chance to see some Highland Games at Lindores in Fife and visit St Andrews.
