The new trainees will work across all units in the firm’s offices in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow as part of a two-year schedule.

Joining the firm are Daniel Anderson in the rural team in Edinburgh, Iona Howarth in private client in Aberdeen, Matthew Macleod in employment in Dundee and Caitlin Fitzpatrick in private client in Edinburgh.

Blackadders has also promoted newly qualified solicitors to the firm from previous years’ trainee schemes. The private client team welcomed David Kaye in Dundee and Kirsty Martin in Edinburgh. Both Mr Kaye and Ms Martin are former teachers who have retrained for careers in law. Ben Harvey has joined the corporate and commercial team in Aberdeen.
