The role

We have an opportunity for a Solicitor/Associate to join our Edinburgh Dispute Resolution & Litigation team in providing a quality dispute resolution service. You will advise on a wide range of matters with a particular focus on commercial and property disputes. The role will also cover helping clients with inheritance and estate disputes. You can expect to be involved in Sheriff Court, Land Court and Court of Session actions as well as inquiry and tribunal work. 
Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining regular client contact and addressing their needs and requirements.
• Managing a busy and varied caseload.
• Appearing at Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland and supporting counsel in the Court of Session.
• Supervising and mentoring trainees.
• Keeping up to date with developments in the law and contributing to the team’s knowledge base.
• Contributing legal up-dates and analysis to the firm’s website and professional media
• Playing an active part in our business growth initiatives.
