Dr Tracy Kirk

Dr Kirk is among 48 exceptional new members selected from across academia, business, the public sector, charities and the arts to join YAS.

Her expertise in child and family law, alongside her dedication to research and public engagement, will help contribute to YAS’s mission of tackling some of the most important challenges facing Scotland and beyond.

Dr Kirk said: “It’s an honour to have my work recognised in this way and to join a community of leaders from across Scotland who are committed to using their expertise to create positive change. I’m proud to represent the University of Stirling as part of the Academy.

“I look forward to contributing my research on children’s rights, legal capacity and law reform, and to building new interdisciplinary collaborations that strengthen the impact of research beyond academia.”
