TLT has continued investment in Edinburgh with the appointment of digital partner Caroline Churchill.

Ms Churchill joins TLT from Womble Bond Dickinson, where she was a commercial partner specialising in technology, cybersecurity and non-contentious data protection.

She brings extensive experience advising clients on digital and technology matters, having spent much of her career focused on the sector.

Alongside her practice, Ms Churchill has held a number of leadership positions, including serving on Womble Bond Dickinson’s global board, acting as digital lead for technology transactional work and serving as UK lead for technology on the firm’s US digital leadership team.

John Paul Sheridan, partner and head of Scotland at TLT, said: “Caroline’s appointment is a significant addition to our Scotland team and reflects our continued investment in the region. Her extensive experience advising on technology, cybersecurity and data protection matters will further strengthen our offering for clients across Scotland as they navigate an increasingly complex and fast-moving regulatory and cyber risk landscape.

“Caroline is joining us at an exciting time for the firm. Her appointment reinforces our commitment to growing our presence in Scotland, expanding the support we provide to clients, and building on the strong momentum of our Edinburgh team.”

Ms Churchill added: “TLT has built an impressive reputation for helping clients navigate complex technology and regulatory challenges while maintaining a strong commercial focus. The firm’s ambition, collaborative culture and commitment to innovation made it a compelling opportunity, and I’m excited to join the team at such an important stage in its growth.”
