Pinsent Masons has announced this year’s partner promotions, with 23 lawyers set to join the firm’s global partnership.
Glasgow-based Natalie Colaluca and Stuart Newlands and Edinburgh lawyer Kirstyn Gleeson are included in the 23-strong promoted group, while five Scotland-based lawyers have been promoted to legal director.
Ms Colaluca specialises in banking, restructuring and insolvency issues; Mr Newlands focuses on property and real estate relating to renewable energy and infrastructure projects, while Ms Gleeson advises financial institutions, borrowers and investors across all aspects of financing work.
Pinsent Masons’ chair of Scotland, Katharine Hardie, said: “This round of partner promotions emphasises the continued importance of our energy expertise in Scotland as a key driver of the firm’s growth. With the Scottish and UK governments setting out ambitious plans for their net zero ambitions, there is significant opportunity for our newly promoted partners and legal directors to support clients investing in and capitalising on that transition.
“Our promotions in financial services likewise reflect our ongoing focus on advising banks, lenders and financial institutions as they navigate increasingly challenging economic headwinds.”
