Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP (WJM) has bolstered its ranks with the appointment of 10 new staff members.

Eight of the new starts are fee-earning legal staff, working across WJM’s offices.

In Glasgow, Ruth Medlock has joined the employment law team as an associate, working in the conflict resolution group, particularly focusing on hospitality, manufacturing and retail.

The private client team at St Vincent Plaza is strengthened by senior solicitor Ross Wallace and wealth administrator Lee Rankin.

Legal administrators Jodie Burns and Emma Brooks also join the Glasgow office to work in the private client team.

In Dunblane, Emma Buchanan joins the private client team as a senior associate and, in Inverness, respected senior paralegal Hazel MacGillivray makes a return to the firm, where she will be working on a wide variety of property matters.

In Edinburgh, Ruth Campbell joins the commercial property team as a legal administrator in their real estate division.

Elsewhere, the Glasgow team also welcomes IT Project Engineer Gary McEvoy to its support team and Ashley Murray, who joins as a front of house assistant.

WJM managing partner, Fraser Gillies, said: “We are delighted to further strengthen our burgeoning team as the firm continues to expand on our growth journey with new partners Davidson Chalmers Stewart and Irwin Mitchell.

“These appointments exemplify our drive to bring the best talent to our firm, and we look forward to working alongside them with the goal of delivering the best service to our clients.”
