Appointments at MJC LAW
Nikkala Kelly and Courtney Convey
Paisley-based MJC LAW has appointed Nikkala Kelly as a trainee solicitor and promoted Courtney Convey to trainee legal assistant.
Ms Kelly will begin her traineeship within the firm’s conveyancing team, where she will be mentored by associate director and conveyancing solicitor Karianne Falconer.
Firm owner and director, Matthew Coffield, said: “We are delighted to welcome Nikkala Kelly to MJC LAW as a Trainee Solicitor. Nikkala stood out from a strong group of applicants as an excellent candidate. It is an exciting time as we help shape the next generation of first-class solicitors.”
Ms Convey joined MJC LAW as a legal secretary in August 2025 and has now been promoted to trainee legal assistant as she enters the fourth and final honours year of her law degree at the University of Strathclyde.
The new role will allow her to continue her studies while building on the practical experience she has gained since joining the firm.
Mr Coffield said: “We are proud to announce that Courtney Convey will be staying with MJC LAW and has been promoted to trainee legal assistant. Courtney will continue her studies towards a university law degree while gaining rich experience of life at a firm of solicitors. Courtney’s promotion reflects her growing skill set and development at MJC LAW.”
