Scotland visits London for a Burns Supper to remember

The 19th annual Clyde & Co Burns Supper saw the firm’s Scotland-based partners arrive in London with bagpipes, whisky and haggis to provide a memorable evening for the more than 200 present.

The firm’s annual Burns tradition began in 2001 with just 15 guests and has now grown to be a much-loved event for the firm’s clients. Clyde & Co Scotland’s London insurance and commercial clients “thoroughly enjoyed” themselves, and commented on the “delicious food, wine and whisky” which continued until midnight. The event was described as “one of the most impressive [Burns Supper] events in the UK”, with poetry, speeches, music and a few ‘wee drams’ to honour the life and work of the poet Robert Burns.

Partners took to the stage throughout the night, with the traditional Selkirk Grace, Address to the Haggis, Immortal Memory and toasts.
