Glasgow-based Quantuma Advisory has appointed Paul Black as director within its forensic accounting team.

Mr Black joins Quantuma as an experienced forensic accountant and expert witness within the Scottish market. Strengthening Quantuma’s expert witness and dispute offering, he will assist individuals, businesses and lawyers on a range of forensic accounting matters.

Mr Black said: “It’s great to join the Quantuma team. The services that I provide to the Scottish legal market are aligned with Quantuma’s offering, whether that be for business and share valuations for shareholder and matrimonial disputes, quantifying loss of income in personal injury and breach of contract claims or defending and pursuing financial crime matters.

“Quantuma is ideally placed to allow me to continue applying my technical expertise for solicitors and businesses alike, and I am really looking forward to being part of one of the leading forensic accounting teams in Scotland.”

David Bell, who leads the forensic accounting team in Scotland, added: “I’m delighted that Paul has joined the team and I’m confident he will play a huge part in the continued growth and success of the team as we support lawyers and their clients across Scotland and the UK.

“Having previously worked in forensic accounting practices within Scotland and Leeds, Paul has a wealth of experience in criminal investigation work, expert witness and dispute advisory roles, that will help to expand the reach of the firm in the Scottish Market.”
