The event, supported by Sharri Pimbley Associates Legal Recruitment, was the first of its kind in Scotland dedicated solely to women in law. It recognised outstanding individuals and female-led teams.

• Trainee Solicitor of the Year – Caroline Erentz, COPFS

A Special Recognition Award was presented to Susanne Tanner KC of Ampersand Advocates for her “outstanding contribution” as Advocate of the Year.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to Lady Elish Angiolini in recognition of her exceptional career, leadership, and lasting impact on Scotland’s legal and public service landscape.

Founder of Business Women Scotland, Lynne Kennedy MBE, said: “These awards mark a significant milestone in recognising and celebrating the achievements of women in Scotland’s legal profession. The calibre of nominees and winners has been truly exceptional, and it is clear that women are leading, influencing, and transforming the sector at every level.”

Following the success of this inaugural event, Business Women Scotland has confirmed that the next Women in Law Awards will take place in March 2027.
