Perthshire law firm Macnabs has recently recruited a new trainee to take the total current trainee intake to four.

Megan Carling has joined the family team at Macnabs after graduating from Aberdeen University with an LLB and completing her diploma at Strathclyde University.

She joins trainees Aimee Young who worked for the firm as a legal secretary prior to undertaking her traineeship, as well as Lauren McIntosh and Vikki Carver who both assigned their traineeship to Macnabs from another local firm earlier this year.

Managing partner Ruth Croman said: “We are delighted to welcome Megan to the Macnabs team. Our trainees play an incredibly important role in the firm and it is great to have such a talented group of young trainees at Macnabs just now.

“Our strategy has always been to bring onboard new trainees and to develop our staff and this past year has been no exception. We take a very hands-on and flexible approach to traineeships and our trainees rotate between the departments in order to get an understanding into all areas of law before specialising.

“Megan, Aimee, Lauren and Vikki all play a key role in the teams that they are working with, helping our clients and guiding them through the legal processes they face in every life stage, from buying their first house, to commercial law and dispute resolution.”
