Lindsays has appointed Ken Dinneen as its head of finance.

He succeeds Jim Kinloch, who is retiring after seven years with the firm, and brings with him decades of experience of working in legal services, most recently as finance director of Balfour and Manson.

Mr Dinneen, who began his new role last week, has worked in accountancy for more than 30 years, beginning his career with Henderson Boyd Jackson WS.

He said: “I am really excited to be joining Lindsays. I have heard so many good things about the firm and the way it works. Its ethos and culture very much appeal to me.

“I am looking forward to playing my part as the firm continues to grow.”

Welcoming Mr Dinneen, Lindsays’ chief operating officer, Ian Beattie, said: “We are delighted to have someone of Ken’s calibre join us in this important role.

“His financial acumen, combined with detailed understanding of the legal services sector, makes him an ideal fit for us. It’s vital that we have the right team in place to support our lawyers, as well as the firm strategically. I look forward to working closely with him in the years ahead.”
