Ms Tinson brings over 20 years’ experience advising rural businesses, landowners, and farming families across Scotland. A graduate of the Scottish Enterprise Rural Leadership Programme, former vice president of the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, and now consultant at Lindsays, she is recognised for her strategic expertise, practical approach, and deep understanding of the sector.

As a board member, she will support Scottish Agritourism as the sector body continues to champion profitable growth for Scotland’s agritourism businesses.

Ms Tinson said: “The development and growth of agritourism in Scotland has been a huge boost for, and important evolution of, Scotland’s agricultural and tourism sectors – driving the development of exciting new attractions and experiences for visitors and providing enhanced diversification opportunities and important income streams for farms, crofts and estates.

“Having been involved with Scotland’s agritourism community since its inception in a legal advisory role, I am delighted to be joining the Board. I look forward to working with colleagues across the sector and contributing to its continued growth, innovation and success.”

Agritourism contributed £292.9 million annually to the Scottish economy in 2025, with 2.5 million visitors to working farms, crofts, and rural estates each year, with several sector growth targets achieved five years ahead of the 2030 National Strategy targets.
