Lewis Silkin has launched a new employment law offering in Scotland with the appointment of a three-person team based in Glasgow.

The team will be led by Carolyn Miller, who joins as a partner of Lewis Silkin LLP and brings more than two decades of experience in employment law.She has spent the last 10 years running an independent HR and employment law consultancy based in Glasgow, and has also worked at MacRoberts (now Morton Fraser MacRoberts) and Pinsent Masons. She specialises in advising on issues such as discrimination and has appeared regularly in employment tribunals on behalf of both claimants and respondents.

Ms Miller will initially be accompanied by Gillian Ross and Alasdair McCrone. Ms Ross is joining as a legal director. Having specialised in employment law for almost 20 years, she brings a wealth of experience in contentious and non-contentious issues advising UK and global clients.

Mr McCrone is joining as a senior associate from Addleshaw Goddard and has a broad employment law practice covering both HR and employee relations issues.
