Inksters Solicitors has become the first Scottish member of the International Practice Group. The firm was admitted at the group’s Spring Conference in Naples on 17 May 2025.
The International Practice Group is a global community of lawyers, accountants, tax advisors and M&A specialists driving growth through meaningful collaborations. The group was formed in 1988 and currently has member firms in 44 countries in six continents of the world.
Admission to the International Practice Group followed Inksters’ CEO Brian Inkster being invited to speak at the group’s Autumn 2024 Conference in Edinburgh, on the differences in the law of Scotland when compared with that of England & Wales. There then followed a due diligence process undertaken by the group on Inksters. Brian Inkster then gave a presentation to the group about Inksters in Naples on 16 May. The members of the International Practice Group subsequently voted to admit Inksters to the group.
Mr Inkster said: “It is a great honour for Inksters to have been invited to join the International Practice Group and to become their first Scottish member firm. The group made me most welcome, both in Edinburgh last Autumn and now in Naples this Spring.
“Membership of the group allows us to serve, in Scotland, clients referred from the member firms abroad. Likewise it provides our Scottish clients with reliable and trusted advice if and when they need it in foreign jurisdictions. I am looking forward to making meaningful connections with more members of the group at the next Conference in Singapore this Autumn.”
