Harper Macleod has become the only law firm to be appointed to all six available lots on the Scottish government’s legal services framework.

This is the third framework agreement in a row where the firm has achieved this position, having first been appointed to all six lots in 2015, and again in 2019.

Following a competitive tender process, the firm has been appointed to the four-year framework of all six lots: contract & commercial and corporate law; debt recovery; litigation, reparation, employment and inquiries; major infrastructure and commercial projects (including related litigation); property and related matters; and one stop shop.

Martin Darroch, Harper Macleod chief executive, said: “This is a prestigious appointment for Harper Macleod, and one which comes with great responsibility. We are proud to support the Scottish Government and our civic bodies in their goals to serve the people of Scotland.

“Working together with the Scottish government, we recognise the impact this relationship has on the whole of Scotland. We share the same values of equality, opportunity and community as Scotland looks to overcome the challenges of the cost of living, Covid recovery and the just transition to net zero.”
