Harper Macleod promotes 35 lawyers across Scotland

Harper Macleod has promoted 35 lawyers across Scotland, including seven legal directors and five senior associates, nine associates and 14 senior solicitors across a range of practice areas.

The seven new legal directors are:

  • Adam de Ste Croix – dispute resolution (Glasgow)
  • Angus Brown – dispute resolution (Inverness)
  • Kirsty Watson – banking & finance (Glasgow)
  • Lyndsay McMahon – debt & asset recovery (Glasgow)
  • Grant Hassan – family (Inverness)
  • Wendy Richardson – commercial & regulatory (Glasgow)
  • Hannah McIntosh – rural property (Glasgow)

The five new senior associates are:

  • Alexander Johnson – renewable energy (Edinburgh)
  • Eilidh Crawford – debt & asset recovery (Glasgow)
  • Ellen Francksen – dispute resolution (Edinburgh)
  • Keri Preece – dispute resolution (Edinburgh)
  • Stephen Nicolson – dispute resolution (Glasgow)

The promotions follow Bobby Murray’s promotion to partner in the dispute resolution team and the recent lateral hires of Jacqueline Cook as partner in the planning team, Carol McAlpine-Scott as a partner in private client.

This year, the firm also offered solicitor positions to 14 trainees who will qualify in September, highlighting the strength of the talent pipeline and Harper Macleod’s continued focus on developing future leaders.
