Eleven new silks and three new Honorary King’s Counsel appointed

Fourteen new King’s Counsel have been appointed by His Majesty The King on the recommendation of First Minister John Swinney.
They are:
- Gordon Balfour
- Leigh Lawrie
- Ceit-Anna MacLeod
- Drew McKenzie
- David McLean
- Rachel Shewan
- Emma Toner
- David Turner
- Yvonne Waugh
- David Dickson, solicitor advocate
- Gordon Martin, solicitor advocate
The new Honorary King’s Counsel appointees are: Dr Alastair Brown; Professor Lorne Crerar; and Judge Norman McFadyen.
