Digby Brown raises record £59,506 for charity

Staff from Digby Brown were proud to make a real difference in their communities last year raising a fantastic £59,506 for local causes.

The latest total surpasses the previous record of £52,000 raised in 2023 and was achieved by people from across the firm’s seven offices who engaged in a variety of events and initiatives throughout the year.

Battling rain and high winds (in August) a team from Glasgow successfully climbed Ben Lomond while Innes Laing from our Kirkcaldy office completed the London Marathon in 22-degree heat.

Staff from across the firm took on Kiltwalk challenges in Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow while Ayr-based Lee Murray completed the River Ayr Way Ultra – a mammoth route covering more than 40 miles.

The Aberdeen office held a bumper race night and team Inverness hosted a festive workshop to show their support.

Annmarie Rocks, charity development manager at Digby Brown, said: “We are thrilled with the fantastic amount of money raised last year.

“It really hammers home how dedicated our people are to giving back and truly reflects how much our local communities matter to everyone at Digby Brown.”

Fraser Oliver, the firm’s chief executive, added: “As a firm, ensuring we make a difference both in and out of the courtroom matters. Our people are passionate about championing causes close to their hearts, supporting their chosen charities through efforts big and small nearly every week. This commitment is central to who we are.

“Sincere congratulations to all who took part or supported these efforts behind the scenes - a very well done to all.”
