Dallas McMillan charity ball raises £80,000

To celebrate its 150th birthday, Dallas McMillan Solicitors ran a charity fundraising campaign which concluded with a ball on 29 August.

The firm raised money for four charities – The Good Morning Service, CHAS, Simon Community Scotland and The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.

The ball raised over £50,000 for the charities which when added to the funds already raised during the campaign saw the total raised exceed £80,000, which will be divided between the four charities.

David McElroy, Dallas McMillan’s managing partner, said: “We are delighted to have raised such a large amount for our four charity partners, all of whom do incredible work and who everyone at Dallas McMillan is proud to be associated with.

“It has been a great way to celebrate the firm’s 150th birthday and I’d like to thank everyone who has donated to our campaign.

“I’d also like to thank Lousie Hardie, Alanis Hunt, Leanne Adkin, Daniel Leyden and Ailie Differ who sit on the firm’s Charity Committee for all their hard work in organising the ball.”
