Coulters appoints Di Jennings to East Lothian team
Coulters has appointed experienced estate agent, Di Jennings, to its local team.
Ms Jennings takes on the role of senior property consultant in Coulters’ East Lothian office, joining area director Sophie Duns. She spent 13 years growing Simpson & Marwick’s estate agency business in the county and building up an unrivalled wealth of knowledge about property in the area.
Prior to that, she ran an interior design business for 10 years, giving her a unique perspective when it comes to considering buying and selling homes.
Francesca Hill, previously senior valuer, has been promoted to area director for Edinburgh which will see her taking on management, training and development of Coulter’s Edinburgh team.
ESPC member Coulters has seen its EBITDA rise by 23.6 per cent on last year with revenue up 2.5 per cent, which chairman Mike Fitzgerald attributes in part to East Lothian. The company has seen a 17.6 per cent increase in listings in the region, where the average home report is up by more than 42 per cent compared to this time last year, and the average time from listing a property to it being under offer is 21 days.
Data from ESPC shows that the East Lothian market continues to perform well, with total sales in the region up 26 per cent, and a 39 per cent increase in homes selling for over £500,000 year-on-year.
Mr Fitzgerald said: “Di is an incredibly well-respected operator in the East Lothian property market and we are honoured to have her join the Coulters team. Expanding and investing in our East Lothian office is a reflection of the increased demand we’ve seen in the area since opening two years ago.
