Chloe Wales joins Lindsays

Chloe Wales
Chloe Wales has joined Lindsays’ rural – land and business team as a senior associate.
Her appointment comes on the back of a triple promotion in which three new directors were appointed from within the department, which advises on the full spectrum of legal issues affecting individuals and rural enterprises across Scotland.
Michael Yellowlees, partner and head of rural – land & business, said: “It’s fantastic to see our team growing – not just in numbers but strength too. Chloe’s arrival further enhances that.
“With rural enterprises having so many balls to juggle – from the overhaul of agricultural policy and challenges around Inheritance Tax to responding to the climate emergency – we are supporting record numbers of clients as people with all kinds of interest in land and countryside businesses across Scotland recognise the need for specialist support.”
Ms Wales, who will be based in Edinburgh but working with clients across Scotland, has a strong track record of working with landowners, commercial lenders, private investment funds and asset managers.
She said: “The range of legal issues facing people and businesses in this sector is broader and more complex than ever before. Navigating these matters requires thoughtful and informed decision-making.
“The team at Lindsays has an enviable reputation and can help unlock the potential in this sector. I’m thrilled to be part of the team.”
