Burness Paull named Scotland IP Disputes Firm of the Year

Burness Paull has been named “Scotland IP Disputes Firm of the Year” for the fifth year in a row at the Managing IP EMEA Awards 2024.

The disputes team is the busiest in the country, having acted in over half of all actions raised in the Scottish Intellectual Property Court in recent years, raising the majority of those actions.

Over the last year, the team has acted in a £400 million claim in the Court of Session, the highest value litigation ever commenced in Scotland, and supported the guardians of the Harris Tweed brand, helping the Harris Tweed Authority protect the brand in the UK and around the globe.
