Ms Gibson has a professional background in education and community learning and development and has worked in leadership roles across the public, private and third sectors.

SLCC chair Jim Martin welcomed the appointment. He said: “Anne will join the board at a fascinating time for the SLCC, as we implement a new, post-covid operating model and look forward to legislation to reform legal services regulation.

“As well as driving the strategic direction of the SLCC’s work, board members make decisions on individual complaints, making this a unique, varied, challenging and rewarding role. I welcome Anne to the SLCC, and the board and staff look forward to working with her on these issues over the coming years.”
