Thompsons Solicitors Scotland has announced the appointment of new partner Amy Gannon.
Ms Gannon will be joining the firm’s life impact team. Led by equity partner Laura Connor the life impact team recently secured the historic settlement for survivors of abuse at Celtic Boys Club.
Ms Gannon has specialised in personal injury litigation for over 13 years and has extensive experience in high value traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and amputation cases.
She is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and is a notary public. She is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in personal injury law, and by APIL as a senior litigator. She is also certified by the Law Society as a trauma-informed lawyer and on legal technology.
She said: “I’m extremely excited about becoming a member of Thompsons dedicated Life Impact Team. Seeking justice for people harmed as children is one of the most important challenges any solicitor can undertake and I relish the opportunity to undertake that challenge along with continuing to represent those who have suffered serious and life changing injures.”
Ms Connor added: “It’s wonderful to be able to welcome someone of Amy’s ability and track record to the team. Her proven skills are such a welcome addition and will make Team even more of a positive force securing justice for our clients.”
