Aberdeen law students compete at UK Student Mediation Competition

University of Aberdeen law students David Thomson, Alessia Cucchi, Daisy Lockhart and Wyon Sandells have shared their experience representing the university at the UK Student Mediation Competition, hosted by Queen’s University Belfast’s Institute of Professional Legal Practice.

Through intensive training and expert coaching, the team navigated three competitive rounds of realistic mediation scenarios, developing essential skills such as impartial communication, conflict management, time management, and guiding parties toward mutually agreeable outcomes – all assessed by experienced legal professionals and CEDR-accredited judges.
