Trainee

As you embark on your career in law, do you find yourself wanting to do something that truly makes a difference in people’s lives? If so, maybe it’s time to consider a legal traineeship that matters, because as a Trainee at Digby Brown, it really matters to the people you’ll help.
Our Firm continues to go from strength to strength and, whilst we have already filled our trainee intake for September 2025, we are now recruiting for an additional 2025 Trainee Solicitor to join our Serious Injury team in Glasgow, due to continued departmental growth. We think you could be that Trainee.
The team’s reputation in helping survivors of serious injury is recognised by leading charities and organisations across the UK, and they have more than 40 years of proven and trusted experience in helping people affected by:
• Acquired brain injuries
• Spinal cord injuries
• Loss of limb injuries
As well as securing compensation, which is vital due to the life-changing nature of the injuries sustained by these people, you will be responsible for guiding them through one of the most traumatic times in their lives – providing support, empathy and helping them find closure.
In joining the team, you will benefit from its expertise, experience, resources, and reputation, as you embark upon this first, exciting chapter in your career.
As a Firm, Digby Bown is proud to have recently been recognised as one of the UK’s ‘Best Places to Work’ in the just published Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work 2025’ list.
The firm is one of just 115 organisations across the UK to be included in the ‘Big’ category (for businesses with between 250 -1,999 employees) as a great place to be part of and where someone can build a successful career.
We want you to ask yourself…
• Am I an enthusiastic individual with strong, client-focused skills?
• Do I have a keen eye for detail, the ability to act on my own initiative and a strong desire to help others, with the ability to display an empathetic and proactive approach in dealing with clients?
• Can I be a team player - someone who can manage their own case holding, whilst supporting others in a team with more complex cases?
If the above resonates, and helping people really matters to you, we want you to apply for this post. To do so, please send your CV and covering letter to David Hendrie, by e-mail at recruit@digbybrown.co.uk.
