Solicitor/Senior Solicitor – Property, Infrastructure and Contracts

We are looking for a solicitor to join the Property, Planning & Infrastructure Team. The team provides legal support across a wide range of functions including planning, estates, roads, housing, flood protection, environmental health, environmental services and community planning. The post is primarily to assist with contract and procurement work but also the team’s wider remit. The work includes the drafting and negotiation of contracts, some dispute resolution work and advising on a range of procurement issues. The post will involve supporting an ambitious range of projects in the Council’s Capital Plan.

Salary

Legal and Governance Services operates a career grade structure for solicitors. The salary scale for a solicitor is £49,779.10-£53,627.03. A senior solicitor grade is in place for those who have the required skills and experience, with a salary scale £54,434.16- £58,601.19.
