About the role

We’re looking for a Solicitor to join our growing team and help deliver exceptional legal services. Based in our Inverness office, you’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative environment where you’ll manage a busy and varied caseload in residential property law.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of residential property matters – from purchases, sales and re-mortgages to new builds, title transfers, and everything in between. You may also support property developers with acquisitions for development, working alongside other legal professionals, financial institutions, and third parties to ensure seamless service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to develop your career in residential property law. You’ll have the chance to grow professionally, take on responsibility, and contribute to business development within a forward-thinking team. It’s about:

• Property Transactions – Handling the purchase, sale, re-mortgages, and title transfers for residential properties, including new builds and acquisitions.
• Collaborative Work – Building strong relationships with clients, other solicitors, banks, and property professionals to ensure smooth, efficient transactions.
• Client Relationship Building – Developing lasting client relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth by delivering excellent service.
• Business Development – Working with the team to support the firm’s growth in the property sector.

What you’ll need

We’re looking for:

• A lawyer with up to 2 years’ experience in residential property law (experience in handling purchase, sale, re-mortgages, and new builds is an advantage, but not essential).
• A passion for residential property law and a genuine desire to grow your expertise in the field.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Enthusiasm for contributing to business development and long-term client partnerships.
• The ambition to develop your career further in residential property law and take on increasing responsibility within a supportive team.
