Qualified Solicitor
We are seeking a qualified solicitor to join our court team.
This position would be perfect for a solicitor with court experience in any area and either keen to undertake family, crime, immigration or children’s law or a combination of these areas.
As a well-established Glasgow based firm, we cover many of Scotland’s courts and are looking for a motivated, organised and hard-working solicitor to join our excellent team. We have an interesting and varied case load across civil and criminal litigation, and the right candidate will experience regular exposure to court work.
We offer an excellent working environment with a friendly and supportive team. Experience with legal aid is a bonus but not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own case load with access to support from directors, solicitors and admin. The case load will be a mix of legal aid and private work. There are pathways for career progression for the right candidate.
Our staff have undertaken specialist trauma informed training and specialist child law accreditation amongst other things, and we support candidate and career development and progression. The position also comes with annual reviews of progress, wellbeing and salary.
Starting salary is £40,000 and may increase with experienced candidates.
