Our Profin underwriting team based in Glasgow are looking to recruit a senior technical underwriter who will have specific focus on our Legal Professions business including the Law Society Master Policy Accounts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.

Your role would include interaction with the appointed brokers, responding to Law Society technical underwriting queries and involvement with the annual renewal process and negotiations.

Additionally, there will be an element of non-Law Society Professional and Financial Risks new business development and renewal work with the wider Profin team.
Strong communication skills are key, as well as the ability to negotiate flexibly and appropriately.  This is a customer facing role and the ability to maintain a strong relationship with the appointed brokers and the Law Societies is equally key.

We are seeking a talented individual who has experience in working in the legal profession, within the public sector or as ‘in-house’ legal resource.
