About the role

Build your career in a leading Private Client team

We’re looking for a Private Client lawyer with minimum 1 Years post qualified experience to join our highly regarded team in Dundee. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality Private Client matters, learn from experienced colleagues, build strong client relationships, and develop your expertise within a supportive and ambitious team.

It’s about:

Working on varied Private Client matters - Advising individuals and families on wills, powers of attorney, estate planning, trusts, inheritance tax, and wider Private Client issues.
Developing your expertise - Working alongside experienced lawyers and Partners on interesting and technically challenging matters, with the opportunity to broaden your knowledge, develop your technical skills and gain valuable experience.
Building trusted client relationships - Providing clear, practical and empathetic advice and developing long-term relationships with clients and their families.
Taking responsibility - Managing your own caseload while having the support and guidance of an experienced and collaborative team.
Being part of a great team - Sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive, collaborative and high-performing environment.

What you’ll need

• A qualified Scottish solicitor with minimum 1 Years post qualified experience in Private Client work.
• A genuine interest in developing a career in Private Client and building your technical expertise.
• Confidence in managing client relationships and delivering clear, practical and empathetic advice.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload while working effectively as part of a team.
• A collaborative and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and contribute.
• A commitment to providing excellent client service and maintaining the highest professional standards.
