Paralegal, Debt Recovery & Asset Recovery

We are looking for an experienced paralegal to join our multi-award winning, top tier (Legal 500) Debt & Asset Recovery team.
Your role will be varied and challenging and will involve working with our client portfolio, which includes UK Government, Scottish Government Departments and Agencies, Financial Institutions, RSLs, as well as businesses across multiple sectors.
In particular, your role will involve:
• dealing with your own workload and reporting directly to clients and lead partner(s)
• handling your own files from instruction through to completion
• providing effective support to other team members (as required)
• processing files in respect of debt recovery matters, drafting correspondence and legal documentation to maintain consistent and appropriate communication with clients, and other external third parties.
Skills and experience required:
• experience in dealing with high-volume debt recovery instructions and utilising online case management systems whilst still maintaining close working relationships with clients
• Paralegal qualification in civil litigation (preferred but not essential)
• capable of using own initiative and working with limited supervision
• flexible and proactive approach
• organised and able to prioritise
• ability to work as part of a team in a fast-moving environment and able to handle a challenging caseload.
