The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) wishes to establish a Framework Agreement with a panel of members to provide drafting services to its Non-Government Bills Unit.
The drafting services will consist of:
a) drafting Bills to give effect to proposals from MSPs or Committees of the Scottish Parliament, for introduction to the Scottish Parliament;
b) drafting amendments to such Bills; and
c) associated tasks, including providing advice and comments on matters relevant to such Bills.
Non-Government Bills can vary significantly in subject matter, and panel members may be required to provide drafting services across a diverse range of areas, including subjects that fall outside their particular field of expertise or specialism.
