Galloway & Elsby Legal is a niche Family and Child Law Firm, offering a full range of Family and Child Law services. The Firm consists of a small Team, headed by Donna Elsby, who is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in both Family and Child Law. We are a busy litigation practice and regularly appear at Courts and Children’s Hearings throughout the Ayrshire area. Our focus is local so minimum travel will be required in this role. 

Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Family and Child Lawyer. For the right candidate, there will be career progression and partnership prospects. The candidate will be expected to work with minimum supervision on their own caseload and to support junior members of staff. We offer a competitive salary package, commensurate with the applicant’s experience. This role will promote a great work life balance. 

The role would be perfect for someone who is keen on appearing in Court regularly and looking to hone their skills, working towards specialist accreditations in both Family and Child law. There will be ongoing support and opportunity for career development.

We deal with a range of clients, and regularly receive word of mouth referrals. We offer services to both private paying clients and legal aid clients. Our admin team are invaluable and will support all your administrative needs.
