About Apatura
At Apatura, we are on a mission to help change the way the world powers its future. We develop projects that support clean energy generation and the digital infrastructure that depends on it, including battery storage and data centres.
We utilise established and emerging technologies to embed renewable energy into the power network, supporting the UK’s ambition to decarbonise the energy system by 2030. We develop both Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and data centre projects, alongside experience in solar and wind development.
Our current pipeline of 10GWs in the UK, predominantly BESS located in Scotland, aligns with the National Grid’s targets for the network and broader infrastructure needs. Our multidisciplinary team has the expertise to progress projects through development to energisation, with our first assets expected to be operational in 2026.
