We are looking for one or more experienced solicitors to join our highly acclaimed Commercial Dispute Resolution team to be based in either our Glasgow or Edinburgh office. We would welcome applications from solicitors with at least 4 years’ post-qualifying experience in a dispute resolution environment.

We act for clients in the Court of Session, in all Sheriff Courts and Tribunals across Scotland and in the UK Supreme Court.   Despite our Scottish footprint, we are proud of our international outlook and reach, regularly acting in cross-border complex disputes in Scotland or supporting our clients in other jurisdictions.

The role will be varied and challenging but always rewarding. You will be led by a cohort of partners within the team, each of whom are individually recognised in the Legal Directories by our clients and peers.  You will advise domestic and international clients on contentious matters across the full range of specialisms practised by our team, including contract litigation; professional negligence, company disputes, banking and financial services litigation, property litigation, IP disputes, contentious private client matters, contentious construction and engineering projects and public law disputes.

When not undertaking client advisory work, we will support you in enhancing your reputation and that of Harper Macleod LLP through business development opportunities.
