Advocates’ Library Reading Room, Parliament House, Edinburgh

14th January 2027, 5pm to 7pm

Ampersand Advocates are hosting an open evening on 14th January 2027 for current and aspiring devils. Hosted by our Stable Director and our head clerk, it will be an opportunity for those currently devilling, or who are considering coming to the Bar in the future, to learn more about the Stable. Alongside experienced members, our 2025 calls Tony Convery and Sarah McWhirter will discuss their experiences of coming to the Bar and joining the Stable. There will be an opportunity for more informal discussions with a number of our members and clerking team at a drinks reception afterwards.

Numbers are limited and priority will be given to current devils who may be considering applying to the Stable this year. If you wish to attend, please register here.
